A noble initiative undertaken by the Brainware Communication Club with a holistic approach for all the students aspiring to be professionals in the future was the one-day workshop on 'Professional Communication Skills' on 21st of April, 2018 at its Barasat campus. One of the most desired attributes in today’s world being professionalism, the objective of the seminar was to provide knowledge on soft skill development, overcome inhibitions, inculcate positive behavioural pattern and acquaint the participants with interview skills. Presided over by the Guest of Honour and HR Practitioner, Ms. Pallabi Paul, and the TPM of Brainware Group of Institutions, Mr. Biswajit Roy, the seminar focused on training in business etiquettes, achieving communicative competence and enhancing interpersonal skills.

The workshop was attended by students from various departments of Brainware Group of Institutions and Brainware University. It began with motivational speeches by the Principal, followed by an interactive session including presentations, videos and contests where the students actively participated. It finally concluded with a mock interview competition where all the attendees witnessed as model examples how interviews are conducted in the real world. The winners were given prize money as small tokens of appreciation in recognition of their efforts and courage, along with excellence certificates. We look forward to more such workshops in the days to come for the betterment of our students.
